DMCA Policy

This WinRupeesPK copyright policy explains what to do if you believe something on this site uses your work without permission, and what we do once we receive that report.

WinRupeesPK is written by Team WinRupeesPK and follows the research process described on our Editorial Policy page. We don’t knowingly publish text, images, or other material that belongs to someone else without the right to use it. When that happens anyway, whether through an oversight, a contributor error, or something pulled in without proper checking, we want to know so we can fix it quickly.

How to file a DMCA takedown notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on WinRupeesPK without authorization, you can submit a DMCA takedown notice to us. For your complaint to be valid and something we can act on, please include the following:

  • Your name and contact details, including an email address we can reply to.
  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed, and where the original is published if possible.
  • The exact URL or URLs on WinRupeesPK where you believe the infringing material appears.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you’re either the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Send this information through our Contact & Trust page. Incomplete notices take longer to process since we may need to follow up for missing details.

What happens after you submit a notice

Once we receive a complete DMCA notice, we review it and, where the claim is valid, remove or disable access to the material in question, usually without waiting for further exchange. We keep a record of the notice and the action taken. If we have questions about a claim, we’ll reach out to the email address provided before making a final decision.

Counter notices

If material you posted or that you believe is used fairly was removed following a DMCA notice and you think that was a mistake, you can submit a counter notice through the same Contact & Trust page. Include the material’s location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the removal was a mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction where you’re located for any resulting legal proceeding.

Images and third party content

Screenshots and app imagery used to illustrate coverage of the Win Rupees app are used for identification and commentary, consistent with how we source and check information under our Editorial Policy. If you’re the rights holder for specific artwork or branding and want it handled differently, contact us and we’ll work it out directly rather than waiting for a formal notice.

Repeat infringement

This WinRupeesPK copyright policy applies to any contributor writing for the site, not only material we’ve written ourselves. Where a pattern of infringement is traced back to a specific contributor, that contributor’s access to publish on the site is removed.

Questions about this policy

For anything not covered here, reach out through our Contact & Trust page and we’ll respond directly. This page is reviewed alongside our other legal and trust pages, listed on our Editorial Policy page. We’d rather resolve a copyright concern quickly and directly than let it drag out, so if you’re unsure whether something qualifies for a formal DMCA notice, reach out anyway and we’ll point you in the right direction before you go through the trouble of filing paperwork.
